"Limbo"
 

After a lost soul is rescued by a Husk, they both set out to return the soul to her Haven through a path of soul eating Husks.

 

When a mortal dies their soul has to travel through limbo to reach the light in the sky. They travel through the sky like fragile bubbles. The light will deliver them to their final resting place, where they will join their deceased loved ones. However, the path through limbo is very dangerous. Husks, empty vessels with no souls, disrupt the souls by snatching them from their path and eat them. One Husk, named Poppet, fights her instincts to not eat them, she doesn't want to harm the souls. Because of her choice, the other Husks have outcast her. One day when the Husks are feeding, a soul falls from sky. The other Husks didn't notice, this is poppet's chance to save a soul from eternal darkness.
